I bought one of these on Amazon the other day, and when it arrived one of the monkey fist rods was misthreaded, so it was visibly out of alignment. I tried making a 5-pass fist with a 1 inch chrome ball from a YouTube video but it came out really uneven and the ball slipped right out. I have no idea if the jig is nfg or if it's my own inexperience (my first time frankly).

I don't know what reputation these speedyjig people have, I was directed to them by one of the other sites I use. The point being, should I replace this thing or just keep practicing with it?
