are these the same knot? I have compared photos and I believe they are,
why do same knots have different names?

I've found there are a lot of knots that have multiple names. Kind of confusing and frustrating sometimes. Like the Piranha. I call it that, some call it the shark tooth, some saw blade. Wish there was a world wide list lol..
