Rock Sling in woodland camo. I'm not ready for the Hebrew army yet, but most of what I threw at least went forward. This thing is FUN!!!

That is a very nice sling. The interweaving in the pouch is very well done.
Here is an easy sling to make in the field. The pouch holds the ammunition (golf balls) securely without any interweaving.

    It is a modified sheepshank

After 5 loops (6" long") are made you begin a sheepshank but complete an overhand knot by placing the end of the cord through all five loops and pull tight. Repeat at other end. . The source for the sling is "Whittlin', Whistles and Thingamagigs" ISBN 0-8117-1882-2. Tony

Thanks! I did it freehand, but I made sure that the loops were even lengths, and I used the fid on each pass to help "stack" my previous work, which helped a lot. I also tried to keep the tension even.
