Very nice.... I am pretty new at Paracord, but love that pattern... could you share it with me? Or possibly a YouTube or anything??? I live very remote in Alaska and pretty much have to make everything myself... the slings I have been making are turning out nice, but not anywhere near 2 inches wide.. mine are approx 1 1/4 in wide... not quite wide enough to be as comfortable for the extremely long hunts on foot that I make.
be happy to to get the the 2'' you need the innr strands to be 1/4'' https://www.boredparacord.com/collections/paramax or...if you have a walmart close you need this cord for 6 inner strands give me a couple of days, i will try to put togethr a utube i am low tech, so do not expect hollywood quality
ok..if you want a sling tat is 40'' long you need 2- pcs of 1100hd 88'' 1 pcs 1100hd 90'' you need 2 50' long what ever your color start out like this 1 of your colors and both 88'' pcs cows hitch the center with the other color then , make 5 cobra knots each side of hitch then...take the 90'' strand. attach your swivel tread it thru the back side of the cow hitch

also making single point slings for ar 15's with adjustment buckles and kwick release triangle last picture is a 3 ball bola, made with 3 1 1/2'' lead balls made it for a friend, it is wicked cool..
How I prepare the sling if I want a 40'' long sling 2 para1100hd cords 81'' long melt the ends together, to make a loop, make 2 loops cut 1 piece of para1100hd 86'' long also melt the ends make a loop set the 86 aside and use 2 50' long cords to start the sling as shown above
Wow... frodo, you are awesome..... unfortunately, there is no Walmart within a few hundred miles.... I live on Prince of Wales island in SE Alaska... a trip to town is a 2 hour truck ride followed by a 3 hour boat ride.. and that is one way.. lol.. our mail comes via float flame when the weather is good... so good logistical planning is imperative... no quick jaunts to the neighborhood Walmart.. but I will save all of this, and when the correct Paracord finally get here, in about 6 weeks, I will post pics.... .. till then, I leave you with these pics for your trouble....
nice pictures,,,no walmart,,then order from bored paracord see link i provided any questions later,,,i am around
