I haven't used the black ones. I've used Stainless ones. They did show wear rather badly.
Quality Adjustable Shackles
Can anyone please tell me the brand and location of some quality adjustable shackles (bow shackle/clevis) in both black and chrome/stainless?
I looked on Amazon but some of the comments have me worried, specifically on the black shackles that seem to have paint quality problems on a couple different popular brands. The most expensive shackles on Amazon have no feedback what-so-ever.
Are there certain brands to _avoid_? I guess that would be almost as useful.
Any information would be greatly appreciated!

I wouldn't suggest any painted shackles seeing as with normal wear the paint will start to fade and chip.
I haven't bought any shackles online before. The few I've bought I got from Home Depot while I was shopping for other things.
