These are some of the best knifes I know of check them out
Cold Steel yes, BudK no.
Most of BudKs stuff is low quality show pieces,(I've broken a few) so if thats what you want go for it.
Go with a quality brand if you want good usable kinves.
Cold Steel, Kershaw, Spyderco, Benchmade, Boker, and CRKT all make great budget knives.
I use BUDK for practice knifes. Plus decor
I only own one BudK knife. It's their neck knife. I arrived very sharp and I have no complaints about the knife.
And dont forget! if you are looking for a nice hand forged blade at a reasonable price check out my page! https://www.facebook.com/mscustomblades
Hardcore.... do you have a website with options/prices? I would love to support a small business with my next purchase.
I dont have a site just yet.
I have been doing my orders through PMs on forums and through my FB page.
Hit me up here or on the FB page if you are interested and we can discuss what you want and I'll see what I can do for ya.
thanks for your consideration!
Do you accept PayPal?
I do. I suppose I should have mentioned that, lol.
How long does it usually take you to make a knife?
I'm talking a simple design without scales and serrations. With a blade length of 5 to 6 inches.
It's usually takes me a month or so to get them out.
I've recently gained some tooling that helps the process along so I could probably get one like you describe out in a couple weeks.
A months time is reasonable.
You have a pretty fast turn around time.
