Yeah I did, old jeans, duct tape and super glue to stick it and harden it, very strong too and not half bad looking

I dig it!
I've been making my blades from files for a while now. its great steel. Very workable and takes a great edge.
How did you work it? Did you normalize and re temper or just take it off material?

I just took off material it's a 7mm file so really thick and strong

Added a belt and finished off, gonna change the handle wrap to green though
