Hi another newbies here. I am not a hard core paracord person but would like to make a rifle sling for my 597 and learn how to make bracelets so I can teach my 4-H kids how to.

Welcome! For bracelets I would suggest learning the Solomon Bar a.k.a Cobra Weave. It's easy enough once you have made it before and easy enough to teach to a child.
