Just a spin on the Solomon bar/Cobra weave. All you are doing is pulling out the loops instead of tightening everything. Kinda cool. I did these for my niece and newphew.
For Christmas '13, I made my granddaughter a mobile with those made from neon paracord ( yellow, green, green with yellow tracings) in various sizes- from 1.5 inches long to 4 inches. Then I attached them to a paracord covered loop with 4 lb test fishing line. When hanging, you can't see the fishing line. It looks like the butterflies are actually flying around, especially when the a/c or heater kicks in.
