I saw some offered at Amazon. OK, it's 750# cord, instead of 550. But unless you have a special application needing that strength, is there any other point to it? I'm thinking it's probably a hair bulkier.
Yep, it is as you say "a hair bulkier" (1/32") but for survival / emergency prep purposes... it is better cord. For bracelets and such, not so much, unless you don't mind it a little thicker and plan on using the cord in an emergency.
The 750 cord doesn't flatten-out as much as the lighter cords either. That may make it less desirable for bracelets and such.
I think of the 750 cord as ideal for camping, utility and emergency uses more than anything else. That's just me though... many people make everything with 750 cord that they used to make with 550 cord and are very happy with it.
