  3. General Paracord Discussion
I do ALOT of paracord tying, it's a favorite past time and occasional business. Usually I'm home sitting on the couch and I have all of my tools that make everything easier sitting right in front of me, I have found using a 1/8" (tip) steel nail punch makes a pretty good tool for working the...

Up for sale is our newest endeavor, a paracord fid that has been hand shaven and sanded down to a super-fine finish. You won't believe how tight grained and smooth these things are. I will not be sealing, staining or otherwise covering up the awesome smell. The aromatic cedar comes from our...
  9. Completed Projects & Ideas
I made a money fist keychain yesterday using an 5/8" steel ball, 1" keyring, 4' OD paracord and about 4' of purple. The purple is what I had on hand after making my daughters belt. I put it on my keys today and it works nice as a slap or whatever the name is. :) It measures 7 inches from monkey...

  14. General Discussion
What about a place on here to buy, sell, trade our paracord projects? Plus we can buy, sell, trade our tools like jigs, etc. I'm on other forums that have this kind of section and it does very well.
  15. Cord Types & Questions
Ok, so my experience goes with buying paracord from my local military surplus. Super cheap. However, since I moved to Chicago, that's a no go. I was perusing the internet and I saw "reflective" paracord. Anyone have experience with this? I see it's value, but do you think the chemical used...
  16. General Paracord Discussion
Ok, so I am 220lbs. My question is, has anyone rappelled with paracord, maybe using one strand on each side secured around a tree or something so you could recover it? In theory, 550 cord should hold you, and you got two strands, but just one say around the back of the tree. I've been wanting...
  17. Cord Types & Questions
This is the cord I buy. I don't buy anything else. It's supposedly rated at 550lbs, but who knows on that. I like the fact it does not rot, and will not mildew. I can attest to this because I used it for everything outdoors, including the guy wires on my tent.
  18. Knots, Knots, Knots
I can't seem to get this knot right. LOL. Anyone have a link to really good instructions on it?
