What type of paracord would you recommend for keeping in my boots? 3 inner stands? Regular Mil Spec 7 strand? Would you take out the inner stands?

    What do you guys do?

I would leave the strands in and use the 7 strand paracord.

That was my thought. When I get this paracord in finally, I am going to swap out all my laces for paracord.

Yes, I ordered some more paracord because I owe you guys some tutorials. :D

I use only 7 strand on everything.Once I have my boots laced with it,I heat the frayed ends with a zippo and then give them a fast twist with some needle nose pliers to make a permanent sealed end.

Then I get fancy and hose the eyes and cord with food grade dry silicone.it lubes the cord and eyes and waterproofs hell out of everything!
